Users of the Apple new operating system Snow Leopard are facing the massive data calamity when logging into their system under a guest account. The problem occurs to affect the users who had a guest account before upgrading to the new operation system Snow Leopard. This may cause the users to lose their entire profile, including documents, videos, pictures and sites. It has been come to know by the report of more than 100 users in the discussion forums after the release of the operating system in August.
The indications of the Snow Leopard bug simply treats the user account as the guest account and completely wiped the user profile, when they logged out. User’s those who logged as a guest and then logged into their normal account found that their complete personal data or files are not visible, which are completely reset to default settings. Many users are complaint this problems in the forums. Here they can also restore their data by using the backup services that also includes the Mac’s own Time Machine, but it only work for those who doesn’t lost their data permanently.
Even the problem of the data losses to the customer becomes the issue, but the Apple said that it will occur only in the rare cases. It also provides the information to users to delete their previous guest account if necessary and create the new one that are inherent to Snow Leopard.
